"One of the most unsung bands in the New Jersey music scene for decades has been The Cryptkeeper Five (CK5) from Trenton. They've been banging out their unique style of punk rock since 1997. Punk that includes a wide range of influences from Roy Orbison to the Misfits to Bruce Springsteen. In a way, they're like the Ramones with a Jersey Twist"

-Gary Wein,  NJ Arts Magazine

The Cryptkeeper Five (sometimes referred to as TCK5 or CK5) are an American punk rock band formed in Trenton, New Jersey in 1997.

They draw influence from artists such as The Ramones, Bruce Springstreen, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, U2, The Arcade Fire and have been compared to Against Me!, The Misfits, The Gaslight Anthem and The Menzingers.

Having toured nationally over the past two decades, The Cryptkeeper Five have shared the stage with The Ataris, The Dickies, Tommy Stinson (of The Replacements/ Guns and Roses), Big Wig, The Supersuckers, Hugh Cornwell (of The Stranglers), The Necromantics, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Balzac, Kevin Seconds (of Seven Seconds), HR (of Bad Brains),  The Flat Duojets, Old Man Markley,  Catch 22  and many more.

In 2016, they started touring internationally, travelling to Germany,  London,  Liverpool,  Belfast and Canada.

To date, The Cryptkeeper Five have released eight studio albums, one compilation album, two splits and have been featured on many compilation cds... their latest album being, "The Stronghold" (2017).

The Cryptkeeper Five should move more than a few mountains with this disc, and the songs are all top-notch compositions that you’ll want to listen to again and again.”
